Creating a conceptual landscape design for your project is our important first step together. During this phase we carefully and collaboratively create conceptual design plans that balance the visual aesthetic of the property with the client’s goals for the space.   • Eco Landscape’s signature style is modern drought tolerant landscaping. Modern simplicity of design, material palettes and drought tolerant plant selections. Limiting the number of different materials used within our designs allows our landscapes to become visually relaxing, and thoughtfully designed.

  • Being a design build firm allows us to design with the builder’s input and build with the designer’s guidance. We have a unique synergy between the designer and builder (who are married) and our crew, all of whom have been with us for 10+ years. Our crew understands our design vision and they bring a level of expertise that improves every aspect of our installations. Although we try to address every aspect of the project in the design phase, things do sometimes need to be adjusted during the build and Jennifer and Brad address these modifications together with you.

  • During our initial consultation our goal is to see the site and review your hopes and dreams for your outdoor space. Equally as important is for you to get to know us - as having a good fit is so important! Based on this meeting, we will send you our Design Agreement outlining the scope of the project and our design fee for the plans for your approval. Once we begin we will measure your space and then create a 2D digital design plan for you with boards showing plant palettes and visual inspiration for hardscape areas as needed to bring the plan to life. During our design presentation to you, we will also have prepared a line itemed estimate for all areas of the design plan showing the cost of every element of your landscape design. In the revision stage we can add, remove or change elements on the plan to get things final and ready to build.

  • Yes. Please send us your designs, we are happy to provide you with a bid.

  • If your scope of work does not require a design or if you have a design from another designer - we would love to provide you with an estimate. But if a design is needed and you do not have one, that would be the first phase of work that is needed to create an estimate for you.

  • No. We have our own crew and do everything in house with the exception of metal work. We do have a metal fabricator that works with us to handle all of this type of work if needed.

  • We do not build pools but we often design them in the landscape plans we create for our clients. We have pool builders that we frequently work with and can refer to you, or we can work in conjunction with any pool builder you choose.

  • Yes. ​​Our warranty varies based on the type of work but is consistent with industry standards.

BRAD KLEIN

Brad’s is an experienced licensed landscape contractor who specializes in project managing and building residential landscapes in Southern California. This combined with the knowledge he gathered working as a Project Manager in the Amazon rainforest for international rainforest conservation, gives him the unique perspective he brings to each project. His deep appreciation for the environment, as well as his unique and old fashioned commitment to both customer service and quality, make Eco Landscape rare in the market place.

JENNIFER KOLL-KLEIN

Jennifer is a Creative Director in Los Angeles with over 25 years of demonstrated success providing design direction for some of today’s top global brands. Passionate about the outdoors, a love of architecture and interior/exterior design, she has shifted her focus to include landscape design and exterior furnishings. With a love of color, print, texture and clean design lines, Jennifer’s focus is on designs that are the perfect combination of beauty and function. Jennifer’s diverse design experience and dedication to design excellence are unmatched in today’s market place.
